We were on location for OPSM’s Everyday Excellence campaign, out on the raw edges of Melbourne’s shoreline, waiting for the day to begin with the extraordinary Nornie Bero.

She arrived before dawn, stepping out of her car like a frame from a film — sharp, stylish, and completely composed. Between running her restaurant, Mabu Mabu, in inner-city Melbourne, filming a new cooking series, and juggling media interviews and ambassadorships, Nornie carved out a few precious hours to share a slice of her world with us.

She’s magnetic — warm, articulate, and quietly powerful, with a storyteller’s rhythm that pulls you in and holds you there. Even through the Melbourne morning chills.
