It’s quite hard to fathom that today one in six Australian children and young people are living in poverty. One in six…In Australia. Think about that number for a moment.
When families are experiencing financial disadvantage, children can fall behind with their learning, leaving them more vulnerable to experiencing hardship themselves later in life. Thankfully, The Smith Family are there to provide vital support where it’s needed so those vulnerable children aren’t forced to repeat the cycle of poverty.
Together with the legends at The Works, I directed the TVC and shot the print campaign for this year’s Back to School Funding Drive that has just launched nationally. This is a very worthy charity and one that needs your cash to keep good kids from falling between the cracks.
